After playing this cover in their live set for years, the time has finally come to release our very own version of one of the best Ramones tracks of all time! This song is a bookend for the first Mad By Mourning era as we move towards the next.

2027 brings the debut album...

Underground strings the listener through swinging folk-inspired verses which indulge in a lavish tale of lust and secrecy, before exploding into a signature concoction of roaring guitars, thundering drums, and theatrical vocals in the infectious chorus.

Black Car explores an earnest attempt to comprehend the death of a loved one. The listener is placed in a poignant snapshot of racing thoughts, vivid imagery and desperation as Mad By Mourning pulls down the tapestry of their often fantastical worlds in favour of a sombre and macabre look at our own.

Creature of Habit captures self-destructive coping mechanisms, overthought mistakes and an endless revisiting of fear and dread, translating a scattered internal monologue to an explosive and dynamic insight into Alfie's songwriting. The song pulls back the curtain on the mind at the centre of Mad By Mourning's nightmarish themes and lyrically recounts the habits and rituals of a sleepless night. These experiences are bottled up in a frenzy of biting guitars and rolling drums in the theatrical storm of Spook-Rock, dragging the listener along for the ride.
